He specializes in facial cosmetic surgery with particular emphasis on eyelid rejuvenation and face lifting. By offering his clients the latest in new technical procedures, he is able to provide optimal results while minimizing the risk of surgery and allowing for a quicker recovery time.
Dr Tsribas was the Assistant Professor in the department Orbital and Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California. His training is in both general surgery and oculoplastics. Before moving to take the position at UCLA he worked in New York, London and now back home in Australia.
He is involved in several current research projects. These entail both basic science and clinical applications of various emerging technologies and some of these include the following:
- Applications for endoscopic endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy;
- Treatment of TAO with Rituxan and Anakinra and other novel antibody fragment interventions;
- Genetic markers for Ocular and periocular tumours;
- Dermal fillers; roles in periorbital reconstruction and facial rejuvenation;
- New surgical approaches to facial rejuvenation.
